The Royal Hotel.
The rumors as to the reopening of the Royal Hotel have now taken a definite shape, and we are enabled to state that Mr. John Coleman has taken a lease of the house. Mr. Coleman is an old Mudgee boy, and his many friends will be glad to hear that he has decided to settle in Mudgee again. As landlord of the Victoria Hotel, Bathurst. Mr. Coleman worked up that large business, which can only be based on personal popularity, and we hope to see the same success attend his enterprise in Mudgee5

MR. JOHN J. COLEMAN'S ROYAL HOTEL.
This is one of the finest and most capacious hotels in Mudgee. Its accommodation is excellent, and in that respect it ranks as one of the best inland. There are 28 rooms. It contains some well-furnished bedrooms, handsome dining-rooms, public and private, spacious sitting-rooms, sample-rooms for commercial travellers, with whom the house is sure to become popular, and all necessary conveniences, including hot and cold water baths. The Royal is situated at the intersection of Market and Lewis streets, and close to the business centre of Mudgee. Some 12 months ago Mr. Coleman, after selling out to advantage one of the leading hotels in Bathurst, came to Mudgee and took over the Royal. Since then he has taken a good deal of interest in the active management of the house, and the cuisine and bedrooms are under the personal supervision of Mrs. Coleman, There is extensive accommodation in connection with the house. I should mention that Mr. Coleman is a brother of Mr. George Coleman, solicitor, Wagga, and Mayor of that town. "Jack" appears to be as popular in Mudgee as George is in Wagga6
