A tear from the Oldest Inhabitant
Last week the only surviving hotel at Long Creek, near Mudgee, known as the Commercial, closed its doors. That shingle was an old landmark. In the old mining days of the '50s, there were some 20 hotels within a radius of two miles, and the Commercial held a high place amongst them1
