HOTEL TRANSFER
At the Gulgong Licensing Court recently. Mr J. J. Dowd appeared for Sidney William Clarence Allen, who was an applicant for the transfer of the licence of the Royal Hotel from C. F. A. Davis. Mr Allen said he was a salesman, residing at Home Rule and the domestic arrangements at the hotel would be controlled by his wife. The application was granted1 .

Licence of Royal Hotel Transferred
An application for the transfer of the licence cf the Royal Hotel, Gulgong, from Reg Johnstone to A. V. Brooks, (late of Bondi) was before the Licensing Magistrate (Mr. J. S. Hurt) at, the Gulgong Licensing Ccurt last Wednesday.
Sergt. Gdentle for the police asked Mr Brccks if he was prepared to supply full meals and accommodation, to the travelling public, to which Mr Brooks replied, 'Yes.'' The application was granted2

THE ROYAL HOTEL
Appearing for Mr. Alfred A. McKell, who had made application for a transfer of the licence of the Royal Hotel, Mr. J. J. Dowd said that the transfer was not being proceeded with. The case was struck out3 .

Royal Hotel Licence Transferred
At the Gulgong Licensing Court last Wednesday, the Magistrate, Mr. K. M. Dash, approved the transfer of the licence of the Royal Hotel from A. V. Brooks to Allan Bowtell, late of Fairfield.
Mr. Bowtell, in evidence, stated that his last licence had been held at Mt. Hope.
He would provide full meals and accommodation at the Royal Hotel. His wife would manage the house part of the business.
In reply to the Magistrate, Sgt. H. E. Bigg said the reputation of the hotel in regard to service to the public was satisfactory. Enquiries had revealed that Mr. Bowtell's conduct of the hotel at Mt. Hope had been satisfactory4

ROYAL HOTEL
The licence of the Royal Hotel in Gulgong was at Mudgee Police Court last Thursday week, transferred from Mr. E Huges. to Mrs Mary Atkins, wife of Mr. G. Atkins. A lady chef, Miss T Wilson is now on the staff. Mr. and Mrs. Hughes and the latter's brother, took their departure from the town a couple of days later5 .

HOTEL TO CHANGE HANDS
The licence of the Royal Hotel which has been held by Mrs. Mary Atkins for some months past has been sold to Mr. Jack Blanning, brother of the late Mr. George Blanning, of Gulgong. The new licensee expects to take over the business in a few weeks, after which Mr and Mrs. Atkins propose to leave for the North Coast6 .
