ANOTHER HOTEL FOR KANDOS.
William Morgan was granted a conditional publican's licence for the second hotel at Kandos, which will be known by the sign of Railway Hotel.
The architect, Mr. T. J. Copeland, of Sydney, stated that the building will probably cost £13,000. It will be a two-storey, constructed of brick or concrete and contain 20 bedrooms. This building, which is estimated to cost £13,000 will be two storeyed, containing 20 bedrooms, and has been designed by Mr. J. J. Copeland. If you've got a good thing, advertise it. Many hotelkeepers bemoan the lack of trade, but don't try to get the people there by advertising. The proprietor of the Railway Hotel, Kandos, however, is not one of these. In an advertisement elsewhere he tells something about his hostelry, which, by the way claims to be the only hotel thereabouts that runs a frigidaire for the preservation of foodstuffs4
