Garage is hit again

Mudgee fire brigade, for the second time in two weeks, was called to a fire at the Caltex Service Centre in Church Street yesterday.
About two weeks ago, the fire brigade was called when flames from an oxyacetylene torch ignited petrol on the floor of the garage.
Quick action by an employee brought the flames under control, and saved the building from serious damage.
About 6.45 p.m. yesterday, the fire brigade was called when the interior of a vehicle became alight.
The fire destroyed a front seat of a panel van standing outside the garage, before the flames could be brought under control with a small extinguisher.
The cause of the fire, which lasted about 10 minutes, is still unknown1 .
