HOTEL CHANGES HANDS

At the Gulgong Licensing Court to-day, the licence of the Centennial Hotel was transferred from Mr. J. R. Wyman to Mr. J. E. Campbell, late of Sydney. Mr. and Mrs. Wyman and daughter, Kaye. will leave for Sydney tonight (Wednesday), when they will carry with them best wishes from a number of friends. During their ten months stay here Mr. and Mrs. Wyman became very popular2 .

In the licensing Court last Wednesday, two Gulgong Hotels - the Post Office and the Centennial were transferred, the former from Les Hope-Caten to John William Bury and the later from Joseph Langtry to K. N. Mitchell3 .

The licence of the Centennial Hotel, Gulgong, - was last week transferred from Mr. Ken. J. Mitchell to Mr. Noel W. Perske, late of the Federal Hotel, Narromine4 .

At the Gulgong Licensing Court, before Mr. K. M Dash, Licensing Magistrate, last Wednesday, the transfer of the licence of the Centennial Hotel from Mr. Noel Perske to Mr. A. A. McKell, was approved5 .

An application for transfer of the licence of. the Centennial Hotel, Gulgong from Alfred Aubrey McKel to Alfred C. Bennett was granted by Magistrate Mr K M Dash, at the Licencing Court last Wednesday. Mr Bennett said that his wife would be taking charge of the domestic part of the business6 .

APPLICATION FOR REMOVAL OF HOTEL LICENCE

Mr. E. J. Gibbons, licensee of the Centennial Hotel in Gulgong, will make application to the Full Licensing Bench in Gulgong next Wednesday for an order conditionally granting him a removal of the licence to premises to be erected at Dapto in the City of Greater Wollongong8 .

Objection to Transfer of Town Hotel Licence

An objection to the removal of the licence of the Centennial Hotel in Gulgong will be heard at the Full Licensing Bench sitting in the town to-day (Wednesday).
A number of business men have given notice to the clerk of the Licensing Court and to Mr. E. J. A. Gibbons, that they intend to object to the application by Mr. Gibbons for the removal of the licence of the Centennial Hotel premises to a building proposed to be erected at Dapto in the City of Greater Wollongong in the State of New South Wales.
'Our reasons' are, principally', the form of objection states, ''that the accommodation requirements of the travelling public and of the residents of the Gulgong district cannot reasonably be met by the other four hotels in the town9 .'
