Mudgee Men's Shed to produce habitat boxes for Wollar Road upgrade
The Mid-Western Regional Council is partnering with Mudgee Men's Shed (MMS) to produce 50 habitat boxes that will be installed in the Munghorn Gap Nature Reserve as part of the Wollar Road upgrade.

Trees that were removed to widen the road are being reused for the boxes that will provide increased habitat for native birds and other animals.

The Wollar Road upgrade is a three-year project that includes road widening, pavement upgrades and further safety improvements between Cooyal and Cumbo within the Mughorn Gap National Park.

This project is jointly funded by Council and the NSW Government's Restart for Regions and Saving Lives on Country Roads programs.

The MMS are open any Monday or Wednesday between 9am-3pm, and Friday's for Gym between 9am-11am1 .
