Piambong School.
The furniture for the new school premises at Piambong arrived from Sydney on Wednesday, and has been sent on. It will be remembered the school was destroyed by a bush fire some two years ago, since which time the inhabitants have had to impart home instructions to the children2 .
Teacher Transferred
On 26 May 1899 teacher Mrs K Martyn was transferred from Warneton School to Piambong Provisional School as teacher3

Proposals under section 105, Crown Lands Act of 1884, in respect of the Public School site at Piambong.
WHEREAS His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, being of opinion that it is expedient in the public interest to resume the whole of the land at Piambong, area 2 acres, dedicated 15th January, 1886, for a Public School site, and described in the Schedule hereto, has directed that this notice under my hand shall be published in the Government Gazette, setting forth the mode in which it is proposed to deal with the land in question: Now, therefore, notice is hereby given, in pursuance of such direction and in accordance with the provisions of the 105th section of the Crown Lands Act of 1884, that it is proposed to deal with the said land in the manner following, that is to say, - to revoke the dedication thereof heretofore made, and to sell the same by public auction. Description of 2 acres of land the dedication of which is intended to be revoked.
County of Wellington, parish of Erudgere, containing an area of 2 acres. Commencing on the right bank of Piambong Creek, at a point where the southern side of a road 1 chain wide, dividing it from part of portion 194 of 40 acres, meets that creek; and bounded thence on the north by that road bearing east 6 chains 27 links; on the east by the western boundary of portion 241 of 20 acres, bearing south 8 chains; on the south by a northern boundary of that portion bearing west 8 chains 27 links to Piambong Creek; and on the north-west by that creek downwards, to the point of commencement, - includes portion 210, as shown on plan P. 1,413-1,9784

PROPOSED REVOCATION OF DEDICATIONS
AS I am of the opinion that the purposes of the dedications of the areas described hereunder have failed, notice is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of section 25 of the Crown Lands Consolidation Act, 1913, as amended by subsequent Acts, that it is intended to revoke such dedications with a view to dealing with the lands in accordance with the provisions of that Act, as so amended.
