Proposals under section 105, Crown Lands Act of 1884, in respect of the Public School site at Collingwood.
WHEREAS His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, being of opinion that it is expedient in the public interest to resume the whole of the land at Collingwood, area 3 roods and 33 perches, dedicated 30th May, 1890, for a Public School site, and described in the Schedule hereto, has directed that this notice under my hand shall be published in the Government Gazette, setting forth the mode in which it is proposed to deal with the land in question: Now, therefore, notice is hereby given, in pursuance of such direction and in accordance with the provisions of the 105th section of the Crown Lands Act of 1884, that it is proposed to deal with the said land in the manner following, that is to say,-to revoke the dedication thereof heretofore made, and to sell the said land by public auction. Description of 3 roods and 33 perches of land the dedication of which is intended to be revoked.
County of Wellington, parish of Erudgere, containing an area of 3 roods 33 perches, commencing on the south-east side of the road from Merinda and Hargraves to Mudgee, at the north-west corner of portion 157, John Wilton's Additional Conditional Purchase of 50 acres; bounded thence by part of the west boundary of that portion bearing south 7 chains 42 links, thence by the northernmost boundary of portion 65 bearing west 2 chains 47 links to the south-east side of the road aforesaid; and thence by part of the south-east side of that road being a line bearing north 16 degrees 41 minutes east 3 chains 36 links and north 19 degrees 48 minutes east 4 chains 46½ links, to the point of commencement,-includes portion 67, as shown on plan W. 2,633-2,0912 .
