One way and another, Mudgee people have been getting good service at Beaurepaires Corner for many years and still are.
Before 1850, the Imperial Hotel stood at the corner of Market Street where Beaurepairs serve Mudgee, and it was one of the first important buildings in town. In fact, our present establishment still has a lot of the bricks in it that went into the building,.along with some of the oldest bricks from other places in Mudgee.
About eighty years after the hotel was built, Ivan Adams took the building over and converted it into a garage and tyre business. Later on, Claude Ewin operated the same business until a couple of years ago.
Then in September 1964, this corner changed hands to become a Beaurepaire Tyre Centre and from then on it became the main place for Mudgee people and other people around these parts to go for tyres and tyre service.
Nowadays, interesting as the history of the place of ours may be, we reckon your main interest is that we still stick to the tradition of good service and quality that went with former associations to see us about your tyres, batteries and petrol, and have the pleasure of doing business at a place where good service is a tradition worth remembering and still remembered.
For you, people who don't already know him, Grahame Clark is the name of the man in charge (he's the manager). So come on in, say “Hello” to Grahame and be a part of our history too.
