This is the retirement business of former clinical psychologist Janet de Beaurepaire and investment banker Richard de Beaurepaire. Bearepaire Ridge Vineyard is situated on the 200 ha Woodlawn property, one of the oldest properties west of the Blue Mountains, at an altitude of 570-600 m. While part of the Mudgee GI, the Rylstone climate is significantly cooler than other parts of the region. The vineyard is planted to shiraz, merlot, cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay, semillon, viognier, petit verdot, verdelho, and pinot gris. The property is bounded on two sides by the Cudgegong River, which provides irrigation. Exports to Malaysia, Singapore and China1
