Kantone is a portmanteau of the words Kandos and Rylstone.

Private Hospital.— Nurse Morrison. who for some considerable time had a private hospital in Rylstone, has removed to Kandos, and will open a private hospital in Flemming Street1 .

Death
WEEK OLD CHILD.
Mr. Callon, of Clandulla, buried his infant child yesterday, only one week old. Mrs. Callon is still in Nurse Morrison's private hospital, Kandos. We extend our deepest sympathy and trust that Mrs. Callon has a speedy return to health2 .
