Mr. Rowe, one of the principal members of the Carlos Gap Coal Mining Company, visited the mines on Saturday last. Great work in connection with machinery, etc., is being pushed ahead. When in full swing, they intend to go in for brick making, lime burning, and supply of coal, one of their markets, being out west along the Mudgee line. Mr. Denham, a well known Sussex-street produce merchant, is one of the principal shareholders, and recently visited the mines1 .
