Airly Post Office

Petition
To the Hon. J Cook Esq. MLA
Post Master General
Sydney

Sir,
We the undersigned residents of Genowlan, Airly, humbly petition you to grant us in connection with our local [post office, a money order office, or else present our postmaster to dispose of postal notes as we are put to great inconvenience in being compelled to go to Capertee to conduct our business.
As the majority are miners you can well understand that in order to obtain a p.o.o. They must either lose a day’s work or else impose on the generosity of a friend.
Trusting you will grant us this small favour in one form or other but the former preferenced.
We beg to subscribe ourselves on behalf of the residents.
