Cullen Bullen Invincible Colliery

Blew Open Strongroom
Last week end, thieves blew open the strongroom at the Invincible Colliery, Cullen Bullen. The colliery had been closed for the Christmas holidays, and first intimation that anything was amiss came when nearby residents noticed a large hole in the back of the office wall. Police were summoned, and found that gelignite had been used to blow the strongroom door. In addition to £22 in cash, the thieves took two fully-loaded revolvers - a seven-shot .22 and a five-shot .381 .
