FREEZING COMPANIES AMALGAMATION
YAMBLE WORKS ABSORBED.
A drought is quite evidently not capable of eliminating the rabbit as the commercial side of 'Bunny' is progressing more than ever. News has just come to hand that one of the largest amalgamations in the rabbit freezing and export world has just been brought about by Mr. L. A. Scandrett. A new company has been registered with a capital of £100,000; this Company is the successor to and has taken over: -
Bombala Freezing Co., Ltd.,; Gwydir Freezing Co., Ltd.,; Woolbrook Freezing, Co., Ltd.; Yamble Freezing Co., Ltd.; Crystal Freezing Co., Ltd; Boggabri Freezing Co., Ltd; Darby Freezing Co., Ltd, with Freezing and Chilling works at: - Binalong, Boggabri, Bombala, Darby's Falls, Gravesend, New bridge, Quirindi, Warialda, Woolbrook, Yamble, and in addition to considerable organisation for rabbit packing in Sydney, this Company also has its own London and New York Offices with selling organisation throughout all the principal market centres. This important amalgamation will undoubtedly place the Garratt Scandrett Freezing Companies Limited on the top of the ladder in the export rabbit business. It should be noted that this Company owns ? works at Yamble, and, therefore, whatever progress the rabbit export business makes these works, being owned by such a strong Company, will get full share of progress1
