COOYAL.

We are experiencing delightful autumnal weather this week, quite a contrast to the wintry weather of last week. It is beautiful growing weather and the herbage is springing up in abundance and presents a most luxuriant appearance. Notwithstanding the quantity of rain which has fallen many dams are still almost empty and all the creeks here have not run at all for months past.
The local butter factory has again changed hands, Messrs. Woolley and Brown, of Burrundella, Mudgee, being the purchasers. I believe it is their intention to remove the plant two miles lower down the creek, where there is an abundant and never-failing supply of water. If they do so the success of the concern is assured, for the want of water has always been a great detriment to the success of the Cooyal factory1
