MINING.
With regard to mining in the Mudgee district, Windeyer is undoubtedly the best in reefing, as far as mining is concerned. There is nothing remarkable to report as regards alluvial. The last two crushings at Windeyer, from Winter Brothers' Golden Lily Mine, yielded about 400ozs, which took place within a month. They gave an average yield of over 2ozs to the ton1 .
