1880 Teacher Appointed

On 21 September William Perkins was appointed teacher at Spicers Creek School2 .

1898

30 May 1898 Peter McCabe was instructed to act as teacher of Spicers Creek Public3 .

1900

12 September 1900 Peter McCabe was instructed to act as teacher at Drill Creek Provisional4 .

Spicers Creek Provisional School II in the County of Lincoln opened in September 1934. There was a previous school at Spicers Creek from 1878 to 1927. (1)

In 1934 the establishment of a provisional school required a minimum of ten students. (2)

In November 1957, the school was converted to a Public School which required a minimum of nine students. (3)

The school closed in December 1984. (4)

Proposals under section 105, Crown Lands Art of 1884, in respect of Public School site at Spicer's Creek.
WHEREAS Ilis Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, being of opinion that it is expedient in the public interest to resume the whole of the Public School site at Spicer's Creek, dedicated 22nd January, 1886, and described in the Schedule hereto, has directed that this notice under my hand shall be published in the Government Gazette, setting forth the mode in which it is proposed to deal with the land in question: Now, therefore, notice is hereby given, in pursuance of such direction, and in accordance with the provisions of the 105th section of the Crown Lands Act cf 1884, that it is proposed to deal with the said land in the manner following, that is to say, - to revoke the dedication thereof heretofore made. Ms 1910-9,245 S. W. MOORE.

Description of 2 acres of land at Spicer's Creek, the dedication of which is intended to be revoked.
All that piece or parcel of land situate in the parish of Bald Hill, county of Lincoln, and State of New South Wales, containing an area of 2 acres: Commencing on the left bank of Spicer's Creek, at the north-eastern corner of portion 7; and bounded thence on the west by a line bearing south 5 chains; on the south by a line bearing east 4 chains; on the east by a line bearing north 5 chains to Spicer's Creek aforesaid; and on the north by that creek downwards, to the point of commencement.
To include portion 6. Plan P. 1,436-1,9786 .
