Running Stream
(From Our Correspondent.)
Trucking of fruit at Capertee station from Running Stream is going on steadily, and although consignments are not nearly up to ordinary years, on account of the late heavy frosts, still the supply is fair. The Silver Stream Orchard Co. and Messrs. Sim Bros., of Cherrytree Hill, are the principal consignors1 .

Running Stream.
(From Our Own Correspondent).
Notwithstanding the ravages of the thrips there is a very fair showing of fruit in the orchards in and around Running Stream. The most damage has been done to the late varieties of apples, principally Five Crowns and Granny Smith. The Silver Stream Orchard Coy. have a splendid crop of all kinds of pears, early apples, peaches, quinces, plums and cherries. Messrs. Sim Bros., also of Cherry Tree Hill, have a very fair crop of pears and apples2 .
