Progress in Mudgee
Library
The library goes ahead with leaps and bounds, and is providing a real service to the reading community. Last year we spent £450 on new books, and we have made provision to spend £500 in 1955. The extension of the scheme to the Cudgegong Shire and their valued co-operation in adopting the Library Act have made all the difference to the service financially. Progress is steady and consistent, and you can be proud of this section of the Council’s work1
