History: Merotherie Roxanna

On 28 March 1935 Clarence Richard Weis, of Birriwa, sold Roxanna to George Thomas Nott, of Cobbora for £7,200. At the time Roxanna comprised 1,420 acres. 500 acres being Portion 44, Parish Merotherie, County Bligh. 160 acres being Portion 43, Parish Narragamba, County Bligh. 480 acres being Portion 44, Parish Narragamba, County Bligh. 280 acres being Portion 35, Parish Narragamba, County Bligh. These are shown in the maps below. Book 1715 No 438.

"ROXANNA" SOLD
MESSRS Baker and Campbell and Crossing and Cox, in conjunction, report having completed the sale of Mr. C. R. Weis' property of 1920 acres freehold and C.P. land on Saturday to Mr G. T. Nott. A clearing sale of stock, plant, etc., will be held on Saturday, March 16. Full details of same will be advertised in our columns later1 .
