History: Lue Railway Station

1903

On Saturday our very popular station-master, Mr. Irwin, who has been promoted to Rylstone, was presented, with a silver tea and coffee set and a dozen silver spoons as a mark of the wide esteem in which he is held1 .

1906

Lue Station.

Mr. Chapman is the new stationmaster in charge at Lue. The new officer was formerly a resident of Mudgee, but left with his parents some years ago2 .

1913

The local stationmaster, Mr. Mylchrist, has been transferred to Oaklands. Mr. Mylchrist, who is most obliging, will be greatly missed3 .

Our local station master, Mr. G. R. Cavanaugli. is expecting a shift any day from Lue and the public will be very sorry to lose him4
