In 1866 William Readford was granted a Publicam's License for Royal Hotel, Cudgegong.

1868

In 1868 William Christian was granted a Publicam's License for Royal Hotel, Cudgegong.

Transfer of Licence.
Mr. R. J. Cohen, J.P., Deputy Licensing Magistrate, this morning transferred the license of the Royal Hotel, Cudgegong, recently transferred from J. H. Sutherland to M. Spratt, from M. Spratt to John Hamilton. Mr Hamilton has bought the freehold property of the hotel1 .
