MUDGEE'S BATTERY
ACCORDING to the latest reports, the Sydney parties interested in the erection of a battery at Putta Bucca, Mudgee, have arrangements well in hand, and there should be something big doing in the very near future. If everything runs to schedule, there is a bright prospect of the stampers being kept busy, as the owners of more than one district show will welcome the opportunity of testing their ore1

ON THE WAY
WORD in connection with the erection of a battery at the Sewerage treatment works at Putta Bucca was put in hand on Monday, and will be continued with due dispatch until everything is ready for the first crushing. It is anticipated that ore from the reef at Red Hill, Enfield, will form the main supply, and in order that work may be facilitated at the mine a tunnel will be put in. One section of the battery is to be placed at the disposal of private owners who desire to have stone treated, and there appears to be little doubt that the concession will be widely availed of3

Interesting to Miners
TOD Williams, Newtown, Sydney, having purchased battery, etc., at Putta Bucca, is prepared to help local miners by selling 1, 2 or more stamps as a fully equipped stamp battery with tables and copper plates, etc. on very easy terms. As they are makers of these stamps in 3 sizes we advise those interested to get in touch with them as soon as possible19
