SOLDIERS' CLUB FOR MUDGEE
A meeting of returned soldiers was held in Mudgee to consider the advisability of forming a local soldiers' club. It was unanimously decided to form the club, for the purpose of getting the boys together for their mutual benefit, socially and otherwise. The idea is to have a series of functions, smokes, etc., where the soldiers would become better acquainted with one another, and would, when visiting the town, have a place to go to to spend their leisure hours1 .
