Gulgong Kelly's Family Hotel

Mr. S. T. Bishop, auctioneer, put up for auction, the property known as Kelly's Family Hotel on Saturday afternoon. Bidding was brisk up to £480, but as £525 was required no sale was effected1 .

There was erected a wood building which was used as a hotel and dwelling. The main portion is demolished. A contract having been arranged for the erection of a new brick hotel and dwelling. I value the above land at the sum of one hundred and eighty-five pounds and material of old hotel and dwelling at the sum of forty pounds making a total valuation of the sum of two hundred and twenty-five pounds.
