The Court House and Police Barracks have been in use for many years, and the good people of Gulgong are hoping that in the near future they will be granted a new court house, with improvements to the barracks. Sergeant Steele is the very capable officer in charge, with Constable Helsham (mounted) and Constable Joyce (foot)1
